What's The Kitch does it perfect EVERY TIME. No other catering company compares, and I only ever use What's The Kitch when hosting our events! I've had the pleasure of working with Dave, Natasha, and Jeff (all 3 at our very first event!) and they have been so incredible throughout each process from start to finish, making great and honest suggestions for different settings/locations.
They've catered our events that have hosted 20-150 people, and the staff has always been amazing. The food is always delicious, and you can never go wrong with the grazing table, pies, and donuts just to name a few...
I love working with What's The Kitch because I know I can always count on them from planning to execution - they do an incredible job every single time! I am looking forward to many more events with you guys!!! Gian M. (Real Estate Client)
They catered our corporate fall party and our clients loved the food! We had the party in our showroom and also had a Biergarten on our building rooftop and they executed the different spaces perfectly - with separate Oktoberfest themed bites for the Biergarten! We had a live food slider station inside that guests loved as well - it's so nice having fresh food being cooked throughout the evening so guests can enjoy it hot as soon as it's made! We misjudged our headcount and had over 100+ additional guests show up to the party and they were so accommodating - making several trips to get more food and liquor! Dave and his team go above and beyond to deliver great service, and their menu options were more creative than every other catering company in the city. I would highly recommend them for any size event! Maria P. (Corporate Client)
Not enough stars to rate What's The Kitch! Creative, professional, and an all around pleasure to work with. They are always willing to work within your budget and vision to create a unique experience for any brand. I have used What's The Kitch for several events throughout the year, and they NEVER disappoint. The process is always seamless. Our clients rave about the quality of food, presentation, and service, as they always go above and beyond. Can't wait for our next event!! Stephanie T. (Major Real Estate Company)
From start to clean-up, this was a wonderful experience. Jeffrey and his staff are very professional. From the very beginning I love his "if you want it, we can make it happen" attitude. And that's exactly what he did. We wanted a selection of light bites and he guided us in choosing just the right combination. They were all superb--I couldn't even select a favorite. The party started at 6:30 and the food kept being replenished til the party ended several hours later. It was all prepared right in our apartment on the Upper West Side, which added to the intimate feeling we aimed for. And, as promised, the clean-up left the kitchen and dining area sparkling!
We were so impressed with What's the Kitch? that we have already booked them for our Christmas party! I can hardly wait to see what their seasonal selections will be. Five stars all the way! Diane P.
They are the dream team for foodies. They catered my wedding last week at the Bronx Museum of The Arts and we could not have been happier with how perfect and magical everything turned out. Our guests keep talking about our food and our only regret is that we ourselves didn't spend more time eating.
Natasha is the person you want on on your event as she thinks of everything and then executes on all the details. When we found out there would be rain on our wedding day, she quickly checked in and worked together on a plan, everything worked out.
Dave & Jeff also spent a long time working with us on our menu beforehand to ensure it was everything we wanted, and they delivered. All the passed bites were delicious and everyone loved the food stations. The grazing table was absolute stunner, people kept saying it was so beautiful!
Their staff was also amazingly friendly throughout Tara T. (Bride)
Amazing! Dave was a true gem. He was really easy to work with and helped us to create the perfect menu for the occasion. Cooked on location, the food was fresh and delicious - Everybody kept raving about how great it was! They were attentive with the amount of food that was needed for the size of our event, leaving us with plenty of food to enjoy with some remaining to nibble on (late night grub always a plus when there's a lot of alcohol involved). I was running around hosting and I didn't have to worry, given that they took complete charge of cooking, setting up and then cleaning up after themselves. I tip my hat off to the team and will definitely consider their services for future events. - Stephi L. (Bride)
This is a follow-up review as they did another event. Had people at my dad's apartment for some out-of-town family which includes some very fussy eaters. Again as professional as they could be. A lot of fun with the planning and very helpful with their ideas. Came right on time and got to work cooking and laying out the grazing table - quite beautiful and inviting. About half hour after the guests all arrived, they started passing small bites. The service was wonderful, friendly and discrete. Highlights were the chicken parm lollipops, mojito shot glass shrimp and the cheesecake tacos. Even the folks who never eat dessert kept coming back for more! Truly a class act!!. - Philip R.
Great group of people to work with. From first contact to end of event they were professional and helpful. Presentation was superb and the food was delicious! I had what they call the grazing board for a Bridal Shower brunch. If you're looking for something a little different that people will rave about for days these people will more then deliver. Can't wait for another occasion to use them again. - Stacey S.
I recently booked WTK for my bridal shower and it was INCREDIBLE! I have guests still calling me asking for their information. Everything was smooth and effortless from start to finish. Dave helped me create a menu that would appeal to all while taking special care to the fact I had several guests who were vegetarians, gluten free, and had allergies. There was something for everyone and not one complaint in the room. The food was served fresh, cooked on the spot and served in beautiful displays. It added such a special touch to my event and I couldn't be happier. A favorite among my guests were the chicken and waffles, shrimp tostadas, and the bourbon mearballs. My absolute favorite was the mini crab cakes. Oh, I cannot forget to mention the mini grilled cheese sandwiches that were buttery and flavorful and went flying off the display as soon as they were prepared. All in all, WTK made my day extra special and I would and have recommend them to anyone. Between the wonderful food, impeccable customer service and the affordable pricing you cannot go wrong. - Nikki W. (50 Person Bridal Party)
Looking for an incredible caterer for your next event? As an event producer for over 20 years, I highly recommend What's The Kitch! The entire experience from planning through execution was seamless. The food was extraordinary and creative to boot, as was the onsite service. Bravo! -Jeorgie G, (75 Person Holiday Party)
These guys did a fantastic job. I had a party at a large presentation space for 40 people. From the initial call with Natasha to working with Dave on the menu, to setup, it was a pleasure working with them. The food was delicious and they did a wonderful job of accommodating my vegetarian friends even denoting the veggie dishes. The presentation was artful and inviting, especially the grazing table, with cheeses, dips, chutneys, crudites, chocolate-covered cherries and assorted "junk-food" on the grazing table. It was all appreciated. My guests were blown away by the spread. My only regret is that I didn't hide a few of the Kung Pao dumplings to be snacking on now. And maybe a couple of the spring rolls. And some shrimp and mango skewers...I have finally found my NYC caterer!! - Philip R
I had the pleasure of working with What's The Kitch in November 2017. They provided a full-service experience---food, beverage, staffing and rentals---for my 250-person corporate cocktail reception.
This was a high-profile event for my global company and the the environment was challenging as the event was onsite at our Manhattan office. They did a tremendous job on all counts. The pre-planning process was smooth, I always felt taken care of and could immediately tell, though the company is still 'young', that I was working with seasoned professionals. The food and presentation was highly rated and well received by attendees. The buzz of the evening was around the artfully crafted grazing table piled high with international cheese spreads, fruits, nuts, hummus and more. Some described it as Anthropology display window piece, it was THAT gorgeous! The staff was attentive and friendly. The best way, or biggest compliment, to describe the evening is that though the event ended at 6:30 half the attendees were still enjoying themselves well after 8:00pm.
Natasha was my point-of-contact from the start and immediately gained my confidence. She was professional, prompt and thorough. She helped me develop a plan even when the first time she saw my event space it was completely under construction. She crafted a staffing plan that would work with the space restrictions and was always one step ahead of me. All requests were met with a can-do attitude and they delivered!
I highly recommend What's The Kitch based on the delicious, innovative menu, execution and presentation during the event and knowing that they are an experienced and professional team. Meghan P. (Multi Billion Dollar Company)
They are the absolute best!!!! From the first time I tried their deviled eggs, I just knew that I would be going back for more. Not only is the food delicious, their team are a set of wonderful and nice professionals with great positive energy. It is always a pleasure working with them. I am definitely hiring them to cater my future wedding!!! Yes, they are THAT good!!! Emani P. (Corporate Event Planner) (Multiple Events)
We hired What's the Kitch to cater a corporate happy hour and we were beyond pleased with the team. From our initial emails to the day of the event, the team was helpful and professional, the food was excellent, the setup and tear down were efficient, and the extra touches like presentation and decor for the buffet set up were appreciated. Even when we had a few hiccups during load in and set up (rain, slow elevators, and the like) the team was adaptable and positive throughout. I would definitely use What's the Kitch again and recommend them to others. Julie G. Corporate Event Planner(100 People)
What's The Kitch is INCREDIBLE!!!! They catered my wedding this past weekend and everyone RAVED about the food. Dave communicated with me every step of the way and couldn't be more accommodating. I didn't have to worry about a thing all day! They took care of everything! Can't wait to have another party just to have their chicken and waffles again THANK YOU to all the staff at What's the Kitch for making our special day even more so! Laura S. ( Bride) (110 People)
Move over Guy Fieri, there's a new Mayor of Flavortown! I have been fortunate enough to attend two events--one a large corporate party, the other a more intimate gathering--catered by What's The Kitch? and have been wildly impressed on both occasions. With a laser focus on making food that, at its core, simply tastes really good,What's the Kitch? makes customers happy both with freshmarket spins on classics and bold, innovative creations. Customer service is excellent, as is attention to detail.. - Patrick W, Corporate Agency Event (175 People)
We were thrilled with our overall experience with What's the Kitch. They were on time, organized and the food was amazing. Celebrating our daughters graduation, we couldn't be more pleased. The food presentation was fabulous, it was so refreshing to put together a different menu than the traditional buffet. The food was tasty and fun!!!. - Lisa A, Graduation Party (100 People)

This team of chefs and event staff are PROS.From beginning to end, their professionalism and attention to detail is on point. I was at a party for my brother and these people did an incredible job! The food was great, everything had its own twist to it. The chicken and waffles were a real treat and the desserts were superb. The food made the evening. Amy W (Graduation Party, 100 People)
I dealt directly with Dave and Natasha and they were a pleasure to work with while catering to all my company's needs. "What's The Kitch?" catered our product launch party in Meatpacking and perfectly executed the event from start to finish! They arrived early, set everything up with a beautiful rustic display of wood-inspired chargers/tiers as well as kept guests enticed with a variety of passed hors d'oeuvres. The pulled pork sliders were a part of multiple stories after that night. We would highly recommend them! - Jacklyn S (NYC Corporate Event, 150 People)
Great food, great attitude. Very accommodating and impressed with how they presented food. Jamie K (Office Omelette Station, 40 People)
My husband was recommended What's the Kitch? for my graduation party last Summer. Everything they made was absolutely delicious. Everyone at the party is still raving about the food. Jeff and Dave are really easy to work with and have great ideas for food options and presentation. I highly recommend them for all of your catering needs. Carolyn S (Backyard BBQ Party, 60 People)
Owner asked me to post again as Yelp as removed my review. Great Food, Service, and Guys to have on your team. Very respectful and understanding. Highly recommend. Here is my original:
A relatively new company, with limited reviews so was a bit hesitant at first. After speaking with one of the Chefs Dave and seeing the pictures - I was sold. Very Personable and accommodating. Our party had more than 100 guests in my home and I must say the food and bar service were top notch. By the time desert start coming out, most of our guests were so full, they didn't partake, including myself so I can't speak to that. But they looked delicious. And oddly they left our kitchen cleaner than it was when they arrived lol. Not expected but an appreciated touch. - Roland R (NYC House Party, 100 People)
Hired What's The Kitch for my company holiday party this past weekend at my offices in Manhattan. Amazing service and staff from the two executive chefs Dave and Jeffrey who were so nice and professional and the serving staff who were so kind and courteous to my guests. All the servers were immaculately dressed. I am a sucker for that. Must look professional. I had about 100 employees at our party and the food kept flowing and kept everyone satisfied. Everything that came out looked innovative and top notch. At our pre-party meeting the night before Natasha, their event planner/coordinator described how they would set up our office to look festive for the party and it sounded at first to be to hard to pull off but when they came in to set up it was exactly how they planned and it looked so professional. Kudos to What's The Kitch and their entire staff. Great things ahead for this new company! I recommend them for any type of party you may have! -Joseph L (NYC Holiday Corporate Party, 100 People)
I attended a business holiday party Monday evening. I was able to sample the fare that steadily came out of the kitchen. The pulled pork sliders were a favorite as was the shrimp/avocado toast! There was plenty of veggie fare for folks who don't partake in meat or fish. One of the deserts passed around was a shortbread cup with a slice of banana and banana pudding! Another desert was the Hot Chocolate Station, hot chocolate with choices of white chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, peppermint sticks, spices, marshmallows AND either Kahlua or Bailey's! Great idea! - Desiree K. (NYC Holiday Corporate Party, 240 People)
Such good food! So many great plates and nibbles. Love them! The service was perfection and all the servers made me happy. - Shawn M(NYC Holiday Corporate Party, 240 People)
We were recommended What's the kitch through a very close friend of mine and it was nothing but perfection.
Their food selection was out of this world. Where do i start.... the meatballs, the steak, mmmm they had small shrimp bites with guacamole, their desert.. it was all too good. Everyone had a blast with their food options. They are catering for my mom's 50th and my mom is already over the moon when we went for a food tasting!!!! Was so glad to meet Dave- one of the chefs he was great explaining all of their options. - Amanda M. (Long Island Birthday Party, 140 People)
I hired them for my 50th birthday celebration at my apartment. What can I say? it was an amazing evening! The food was spectacular, and the service was delightful. Friendly helpful and very accommodating team. Additionally , I was hosting a party from 6:30 -10. I wanted passed hors d'oueverves, but I didn't want such light bites that my guests would be drunk and starving. This team did an amazing job. Light bites to start, and then into the heavier bites when our guests were ready. People raved about the food. Couldn't have been happier. Would totally suggest you give them a try! - Linda R. (NYC Birthday Party, 30 People)
I attended an event for WE WORK NYC last week -It was catered by this new an upcoming catering business called "what's the kitch". All I have to say is hands down amazing . From the presentation of all the trays (halloween themed) to the taste and texture. I recommend it to anyone in the NYC or Long Island area. And if you are a fan of Beef Wellington, you better hope you get your hands on a second plate. Charles S (NYC Halloween Corporate Party, 200 People)
